Eucalyptus sieberi

Common name: Silvertop ash, Coast ash, Ironbark

Height: 35 metres.

Spread: 10 metres.

 

Habit: medium-sized to tall forest tree

Family: Myrtaceae

Bark rough on trunk and base of large branches, at first thin, flaky and orange-brown, becoming compact, thick, longitudinally furrowed and dark grey to black as trees age.

USES: Gums, timber, honey, pulp.
