Tall tree, with fairly open crown. Leaves are long and narrow, and green in colour. White flowers from spring to summer. Bark is grey in colour, shed in flakes leaving smooth surface of various shades. Prefers moist, well drained or dry soils. Requires full sun. Moderately resistant to drought and frost. Wind tolerance – can be placed in the front line of a windbreak. |
