Eucalyptus tricarpa

Common name: Red ironbark

Height: 35 metres.

Spread: 10 metres.

 

Habit: small to tall forest tree of south coastal New South Wales and coastal and subcoastal areas of Gippsland from near Licola to Genoa River

Family: Myrtaceae

Ironbark to small branches, dark grey to black, deeply furrowed, thick and hard.

NOTE: it is close to E. sideroxylon
