Hakea laurina

Large shrub with dark green leaves, which are long and elliptical in shape. Evergreen. Red and cream pincushion flowers from summer to autumn.

Prefers a moist, well drained or dry soil. Requires full sun. Resistant to salt wind and drought; moderately resistant to frost and pollution. Wind tolerance - can be placed in the 3^rd line of a windbreak.
