Melaleuca squarrosa

Height: 2-10 metres.

Spread: 3 metres.

Medium shrub to small tree, with dark green leaves. Cream to yellow flowers from Oct-Feb. Bark has a papery or corky appearance.

Will grow in moist well drained, wet or dry soils. Adaptable to most drainage conditions. Requires full sun. Resistant to salt winds, saline soils, and frost; moderately resistant to drought. Wind tolerance – can be placed in the first line of a windbreak.
