Dense shrub, with elliptical, green leaves dotted with glands. 

Yellow flowers from Oct-Jan, in cylindrical spikes 3-9cm in length.

Adaptable to most drainage conditions.

Requires full sun. Moderately resistant to drought; resistant to frost. Wind tolerance - can be placed in the front line of a windbreak.
