Tall tree. Adult leaves dark green in colour, often paler on one side. White flowers from July-Sept. Bark is smooth and grey in colour, it is shed in summer exposing patches of yellow, producing a mottled effect. Prefers moist, well drained or dry soils. Requires full sun. Moderately resistant to salt winds, drought, and frost; resistant to pollution. Wind tolerance – can be placed in the front line of a windbreak. |
