Common Name: Narrow-leaf Hop-bush

Habit: Shrub.

Family: Sapindaceae

Origin/Habitat: Frequently found on rocky outcrops, drier slopes and sandy sites, at lower elevations and on tablelands, in open forests, woodlands and scrubs.

Foliage: Many erect stems, leaves long and narrow 3-8cm ´ 2-4mm, sticky and dotted with resin glands above, slightly paler beneath. Margins slightly irregular.

Flowers: Small, unisexual, without petals, in clusters.

Other features for identification: Capsules 10-15mm in length, 3 or 4 papery wings, becoming red or purple.
