Medium to tall tree. Leaves are dull, pale or greyish green both sides. White coloured flowers. Bark is a dull grey, sometimes with cream, red, or dark patches, shed in irregular flakes. Will grow in moist well-drained, wet, dry or dry limy soils. Adaptable to most drainage conditions. Requires full sun. Resistant to salt winds, saline soils, drought and frost. Wind tolerance – can be placed in the front line of a windbreak. |
