Leaves are small, dull/grey green in colour and thin. White flowers from Sept-Feb. Bark is rough, scaly or fibrous to varying heights; grey brown in colour becoming darker with age. Inner bark is yellow in colour. Upper trunk and limbs smooth and pale in colour. Prefers moist, well drained or dry soil. Requires full sun. Resistant to saline soils, drought and frost. Wind tolerance – can be placed in the front line of a windbreak. |
